Found this article on their second CD:
Addiction includes two great tracks. The first, "It's No Good", contains everything good about heavy modern rock. It opens with a menacing bass synth, but it's only seconds before cutting guitars and a foot-stomping beat kick in. When this is combined with melodic vocals and an arena-sized chorus, you'll feel woozy, imagining a massive crowd rocking, balls out. "Oblivion", meanwhile, opens the sound up to a bit more empty space and utilizes a half-time chorus that forces you to thrust your fist in the air and run around like a fool. Unfortunately, there are eight more songs. The remaining tracks walk the same path that Stabbing Westward and other electronic-influenced rock bands have covered in the post-Nine Inch Nails world. While Arthur Kill thankfully avoid the generic goth of Orgy and the forced angst of Gravity Kills, their additional tracks don't live up to the sheer glory of the aforementioned highlights. Other tracks, including the touching closer "Honestly", have their moments, but the inspiration is running pretty thin at this point. In a single-driven world, two killer tracks are enough, but I'm still an album man at heart. Despite the high points, I'm not addicted to Arthur Kill. -- Ron Davies www.splendidezine.com/review.html?reviewid=1065903039245874
